Rhinoplasty for adolescents is done to cure the damage caused if the nose it hit in an accident. The other popular reason for going through adolescent rhinoplasty is to improve the appearance and get the nose that looks better on a person’s face. When adolescence hits a person, the first thing that starts bothering is physical image. This is why; people going through puberty have made this cosmetic procedure quite a hit.

Complete recovery takes approx three months. The sutures made in the surgery are removed after a week’s time. The period of inactivity after operation is just 2-3 days. After this period, the person can do basic jobs or move out with a nose cast on. The cleaning of nose for about a week after operation is to be done only by the surgeon.
Other types of rhinoplasty
On the basis of the purpose the surgery serves, rhinoplasty is also classified as cosmetic and functional. The latter is done for regulating the breathing which is disturbed due to deviated septum or any other physical abnormality of the nose. Cosmetic is done mainly to look better and it is quite a rage amongst young adolescents.
So, take decision regarding rhinoplasty only when you can afford it and is urgently required.
